Nous vous avons habitué à une revue du Horizon Report annuel, une collaboration du New Media Consortium avec EDUCAUSE. Toutefois, le rapport de cette année me semble se démarquer des précédents puisqu’une place plus grande a été accordée aux grandes tendances qui influencent l’adoption de nouvelles technologies (Key Trends) et aux défis d’importance (Significant Challenges). Chaque tendance et chaque défi a été catégorisée (tendance rapide, moyenne ou long-terme; défis connus, difficiles ou épineux), dispose d’une section de deux à trois pages qui détaille le phénomène, son impact sur les décisions stratégiques et offre de la documentation additionnelle. En fin de document, six technologies émergentes sont présentées comme à chaque année avec l’horizon d’adoption probable (1-2 ans/ 2-3 ans/ 4-5 ans). Quelques éléments me semblent particulièrement à surveiller cette année. Je les ai marqué d’un astérisque (*) et mis en gras.
